Synopsis for "What If... Magneto Took Over The USA?"
The Mutants have aligned themselves under Magneto, who stages a massive attack against Washington, D.C., effectively taking over the United States. But Project: Wideawake has been launched, sending hundreds of Sentinels into the skies, who finally stage a nuclear strike against the capital, killing Magneto and millions of others. Heroes and villains, mutants and powered individuals are all hunted down and either killed or incarcerated. The only ones left are Wolverine and a couple of others, who reform the X-Men to try and fight back.
