Synopsis for "Now Strikes the Starforce!"
The Imperial Guard escort the Avengers to Shi'ar (Race) Majestrix Lilandra. When Captain Marvel tries to explain that the Shi'ar (Race) stargates are endangering Earth, Chamberlain Araki accuses the heroes of attacking a Shi'ar (Race) settlement planet. Thor is outraged and ruins the negotiations. The Avengers are shown to their quarters, and the Kree Starforce teleport in to assassinate Lilandra. When the Imperial Guard engages Starforce, the Avengers join the Guard, sending Starfox to protect Lilandra. Vision and Wonder Man sneak aboard the Shi'ar (Race) Nega-Portal and learn it's piloted by Deviant Skrulls. During the battle, Ronan defeats Living Lightning but Thor recharges him with Mjolnir. Ultimus attacks Lilandra, and Starfox cannot defeat him. The Imperial Guard and Avengers defeat Starforce through teamwork. Lilandra defeats Ultimus with her mini-cannon, and inspired by Starfox's fighting a superior foe, calls off the Nega-Bomb attack against the Kree. However, the Deviant Skrulls prepare to unleash the weapon anyway.
