Synopsis for "The Scarab Strikes!"
Thieves steal the Eye of Horus from Cairo's Museum of Antiquities. Later, the Scarlet Scarab unsuccessfully searches for it at Chicago's Field Museum. When Dr. Blake hears about a Scarab sighting from a patient he investigates the Oriental Museum as Thor, questioning the curator who reveals that three Egyptian men tried to sell him the Eye of Horus. Thor has the curator help him hide in the museum and he springs out to confront the Scarlet Scarab when he breaks in. The Scarab fights Thor until the Thunder God removes his Ruby Scarab, depleting his power. Realizing the thieves still have the Eye of Horus, the Scarab agrees to aid Thor. They defeat the thieves, and Thor convinces the Scarab to leave the artifact and thieves to U.S. justice. Afterward, Don and Shawna visit the Oriental Museum.

Synopsis for "The Rescue"
Balder and the Warriors Three rescue Idunn from Loki and Tyr's army as Loki continues to feel misgivings about his alliance. Having saved some of the Golden Apples from the Midgard Serpent, though, he and Tyr know they will stay vital while the other gods slowly age. In Asgard, the gods debate going to Earth where Thor can help them. They consult Mimir, who tells them they, like Thor, will not require the Apples while on Earth. Odin gives the order to journey to Midgard.
