Synopsis for "The Blaze of Battle!"
Thor smashes through the floor, disrupting Quicksand's barrage and reclaiming his hammer. Overwhelmed by Thor's power, Quicksand escapes through an air duct. In Asgard, while Fandral and Volstagg lead the defense against Seth's army, Vizier informs Balder that Hogun has been injured on Earth. Hogun, still hallucinating, continues his battle with Daredevil, toppling a wall on him. At the power plant, Quicksand takes over the nuclear reactor control room. Elsewhere, Hogun rampages against the police. Daredevil recovers and rejoins the fight. At the plant, Quicksand initiates a reactor meltdown and escapes. Thor uses Mjolnir to open a dimensional seam and transports the building to another world just before it explodes. Meanwhile, seeing Daredevil rescue a bystander, Hogun decides to spare him and jumps top a Roosevelt Island tram. The police open fire, sending Hogun into th eEast River. In Asgard, Vizier's flame is extinguished, indicating Hogun's death.
