Synopsis for "Tales of Thunder"Edit

Lord Thor wants his granddaughters to learn about history, so he commands them to stay in the library and read the tales of his past. After they read about Malekith, they begin to read about "The War of the Realms," when thunder rumbles, telling them that their grandfather does not want them to read that one. After the tale of Young Thor, Atli is tired of reading stories and feels they should be out creating their own. Slamming her fist against one of the bookcases, and large book falls from the top, one bound in chains. After reading just a few pages of the Unworthy tale, Lord Thor is enraged, slams the book closed and tells them to get out. Remembering when the God of Thunder was brought to his lowest point.

The first tale they read is the story of young Malekith. How he was sold off by his own mother, after his father and 12 older brothers were killed in wars. He was then a body burner, captured by Trolls, and then apprenticed to a wizard. After the wizard told him that he wanted to end all the wars, this enraged Malekith because wars are what made him strong, he kills the wizard, but not before the wizard marks him for all time, so that everyone will know him on sight. Malekith then returns home, and kills his mother, becoming Master of the Hounds.
