Synopsis for "Asgard, Part One"

Thor leads the Asgardians into Jotunheim to quell an uprising, but are confronted by Frost Giants hiding behind hostages. They battle their way through and claim victory, but not without cost. Back in Asgard, Sif and Tyr renew their arguments over all that has befallen Asgard of late - the slaying of Balder, the flight of Loki from Asgard, Odin disappearing to Midgard and an unending winter now in its twenty-sixth month. Idunn arrives to tell Thor more bad news, with the long winter, no new golden apples are growing, which threatens the gods very immortality. Later, after receiving a loving visit from Sif, Thor slips away to where Mjolnir rests, with him unable to lift it.

Solicit Synopsis

Beginning an epic adventure showcasing the God of Thunder as you've never seen him before! The vassals of Asgard are in armed revolt...Odin is missing...Balder is dead...and the entire continent is battered by a years-long winter. How can Thor put the empire back together – especially with his mighty hammer Mjolnir mysteriously denied him?
