Synopsis for "The Blood of the Norns"Edit
In Nornheim, the Odinson has answered Karnilla's call for help due to the attacks by Malekith's army against the Norns when another attack begins. Back on Earth, Thor is fighting off Jennifer Walters, who is raging out of control, they battle back and forth with Jane trying to calm her down, until she ultimately flies into her and takes the battle elsewhere. Out in Asgardia, Volstagg is being escorted by the Thunder Guard, when the Mjolnir from the ultimate universe crashes through the roof, finding him and he changes back into the War Thor. In flashback, we see a young Thor fighting Loki, Fenris and trying to become worthy of Mjolnir. In the far future, we see the Goddesses of Thunder arguing over how to make storms, while King Thor talks to Steve and Jane, answering their questions of why are they there, and he begins to tell their children a story. At the same time, out in deep space, Black Galactus, having been absorbed into All-Black the Necrosword is on a rampage through a series of planetoids - the grandchildren of Ego. Engraged, Ego attacks him but is almost instantly overwhelmed by Black Galactus, when All-Black infects Ego as well, and Ego begins to feed on Galactus, killing him. All while King Loki looks on. In Jotunheim, Loki and his father Laufey are coming from a meeting of Mountain Giants where they were attacked and almost killed by them, when Laufey passes out and falls over. In Central Park on Earth, Throg discovers the body of a murder victim, while elsewhere in New York, Thor and Jennifer continue their battle, when the Hulk forcing them down towards Laguardia. Back in Nornheim, the Odinson fights like a god possessed to keep them from the Norns, while Karnilla has her guards break into three teams, each taking one of the Norns to safety, while she cuts the threads and begins to fight back. She takes the threads for herself and she sees all the fates that are coming, all the death that is coming, just then though, Malekith's forces cut the roots of Yggdrasil, destroying Nornkeep. In Laguardia, Thor brings a tower down on herself and the Hulk to bring a halt to their battle, but this also causes her to become separated from Mjolnir. Nearby, Throg has found the murderer and using his powers of storm, sends him scurrying to the police to confess. Leaving the station, he overhears the police report about the battle between Thor and the Hulk. Back in Jotunheim, Laufey wakes up hours later and discovers that Loki had been overtaken by the Mountain Giants, but had killed them all, impressing his father. Buried under rubble, Thor is about to change back to her mortal self, when Throg arrives and uses his hammer to keep her from being killed, but she is very confused about a talking frog dressed like Thor. Back in Nornheim, the Odinson digs through the rubble and finds Karnilla, who tells him that she tried to twine the fates together and she warns him to save Jane, and then Karnilla dies. In Svartalfheim, Malekith is met by his War Witches and is informed that Nornkeep has fallen, while in the depths of space, Hela and Thanos embrace over a mound of death. Back on Earth, Jennifer has changed back and flees, Throg is attacked by some rats, and Thor flies off to continue her work. But out in Old Asgard, the War Thor arrives, but he is unsure why when he is attacked by Toothgnasher. He beings to argue with the goat, when an explosion erupts nearby. Toothgnasher rushes off to attack, when an enormous arm reaches out, ripping his head off, killing him. Mangog has arrived.
