History

Honir the Hunter was an Asgardian ordered by Odin to slay Balder with a spear while testing Balder's bravery by feigning to order his execution. Odin manipulated a tree to block the spear, sparing Balder. He was later dispatched by Odin to Earth in order to restore the power of Thor to Don Blake so that he could save himself and Jane Foster from The Grey Gargoyle after Odin had removed the power of Thor from him in order to punish him.
