Comics published from approximately 1955-1969.

Due to pressure from Senate hearings on the contributions of comic books to juvenile delinquency, the comic industry voluntarily agreed to regulate itself. These regulations took the form of the Comics Code Authority, and all approved books had a CCA approval stamp on their covers. The start of the CCA in approximately 1955 is considered the start of the Silver-Age.

Towards the end of the 1960s, the comic industry experienced low sales across the board. They were forced to re-invent themselves, and these efforts heralded the Bronze-Age sometime in mid-1970.
